Guests from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana and states east will most likely route their trip through International Falls, Minnesota, crossing into Canada. Depending on home town and state, excellent US Highways are U.S. 71, I-35 and I-94. The Interstate routes into Duluth and then you would travel HWY 53 into International Falls and on into Fort. Frances, Ontario, Canada. From Fort. Frances N.E. On HWY 11 approximately 20 miles. Then north on HWY 502 which is a good highway to Dryden, 90 miles north. At Dryden, you travel west on HWY 17 to Vermillion Bay, Ontario. At Vermillion Bay, you turn northbound on HWY 105. Approximately 60 miles north at the south edge of Ear Falls that you turn left on CR 804, a county road traveling west 14 miles. You will cross a one lane bridge, a gravel road (keep left), known as the Longlegged Road. You will then come to a sign for Manitou Falls and just past this sign is the landing which is our meeting point. We will then pick you up to transport your party down the river to camp. |
